Book : Love at Facebook

Recently , I read a book " Love @ Facebook" by Nikitha Singh.
I bought this book long back wondered by title.
Yes. I made that mistake again.
By seeing the title, Dinesh had told me that title looks odd.

I want to write why the title was interesting to me.
I am not a believer in virtual relationships.
I was not having an orkut,Facebook or any other such accounts till I graduated, even several years after I started working.
In one sudden day , I created an account in Facebook and started giving friend requests to all the people I was knowing at school, college and at work.
I started adding my favorites and few photos.
And people started criticizing.
Most of the time, if I see anyone's profile, my first visit would be their favorite books.
After some months, It was not much interesting and real to chat in FB or to put birthday wishes or to like some photos.
So I deleted my account.
Till now, I admire so many people and I call them if at all I want to talk.

Coming back to the book.
The title fascinated me as I can't think of getting a relationship in cyber world.
The story is about a young college girl Vatsala who meets a person in FB and tries to get a relationship with him.
The story revolves around her college life and friends.
It was little boring to me.
It was interesting to read about Ranchi as I haven't known before.
I completed reading just like that.

At present, I am reading a book "Tuesdays With Morrie"
It is interesting till now.

Happy weekend.

Can happen in Bangalore...

Morning you come outside and see the sky
It is crystal clear, there is no sign of rain
You decide to wear white dress (pure white)
You commute for work
Evening you step out of office
You see it drizzles
You wait thinking that it will stop
After few minutes, rains heavily
You still believe that it will stop
Rain continues at the same speed even after an hour
You decide to go by auto rickshaw
You come outside, there is no auto
You decide to go by bus
All BMTC buses in your route takes opposite turn just from the previous stop
You get down at the previous stop and start walking, thinking to enjoy the rain
On the way, road is flooded
Platforms are filled with vehicles , there is no space to walk
You start walking in the flood
You reach home, there is no power

It can all happen in Bangalore. And happened today to me.
But still I love being in this city for many reasons.
One of the reasons is this monsoon

Happy monsoon!!!

Enjoy :-)

Love,
