Mahashwetha

Last weekend, i got 2 books to read which i got as gift from my team. Both of them are Sudha Murthy's.
One is "How i taught my grandmother to read and other stories". Actually i was attracted by the title and the front cover and expected so much. But there was nothing much as i expected. There were no story in that. It was all about the author's life incidents. Totally it was old "Naadha!! Devi!!" style. But somewhat ok kind to read.

The other book is "Mahashwetha", a novel by Sudha Murthy.
I liked the narration and the story. I felt like crying when Vasant asked, "Where is your family?" and Anupama said "I don't have one".
I felt like clapping, when Anupama says to Anand ,"Saying right thing at right time is what makes a conversation meaningful".
But there are some strange things, even though the story is inspiring, the author did not talk anything beyond sanskrit and north kartanaka. Always, there was a thing in mind like, girls are born to suffer, while reading the story. I don't know whether to take this as the Author's mind set, or our society is like that.

But being a south Indian village girl, 80%, i am agreeing to Sudha Murthy's thoughts about our society.
People will give more importance to external look, even they are educated. There will be 75 % people in south India are like "Anand".
The author did not talk anything more about the disease, may be lack of details, or did not want to dig on that.

Over all, i liked this story. But people from different culture and background will not say"This is a good story".

Thanks to Sudha Murthy for giving nice week end thoughts for me.

Be Simple and happy..

Revolution 2020

3 weeks back i had got chance to read Chetan Bagat's "Revolution 2020".
It took so much time for me to complete that novel.
In between, i felt bored to read..
There was one interesting thing, how much things they are doing to open a private engineering college.
And that is only for making money.
In my native, even though it is very small village, people are fond of engineering course.
Irrespective of marks and the student's interest, just for the name sake they are spending a lot money for this course. And as per my thought, this is not going to lead a healthy future for our country and also the people.

And over all in this novel , the character "Raghav Kashyap" , has good thoughts and that is what required for real "Revolution 2020"

 Nice to read such thoughts.

Nice..
Be happy and simple..

One More Novel

This Weekend went with Ravinder Singh's one more novel, "Can Love Happen Twice"
I had so much interest while starting this novel, this interest was more than which i had while finishing the first one "I too had a love Story".
But it didn't meet that expectation.
It was having so much filmy emotions and feelings. Probably i felt like that.
What exactly i felt was, no i didn't feel anything... That is what missed here..
For me it was like, it  is just a story and not anything else..
In some places, there was over explanations than expected..
But still, as a whole i enjoyed this week end by reading this..

Thats all... Week end got over...
Travel started again towards one more week...
This week , i can enjoy, because i am having leave on coming friday..
So only 4 days for work...

Have a Happy Week ahead..

One More Exciting Team Trip

Last  week end i had been to Club Cabana, a resort in Bangalore, as office Trip.
We enjoyed a lot, eventhough only less water rides were there ( while comparing to wonderla or any other Theme Park).
Just wanted to put it as a rememberence.
Food was really nice...
Quality of water (in rides) was not that good... :(
But still as a team, we enjoyed as much as possible.

Life Simple...
We live it as simple itself..

Trip To Pondicherry

Last Week End , we had been to Pondicherry.
As this was my first trip towards seashore, i had great excitement while starting itself.
We started from Bangalore on Friday night 10.00 PM and reached Chennai at 6.00 AM Saturday morning.
I wanted to go through East Coast Road from chennai to Podicherry. Unfortunately, i didn't get chance for it.
So we went through Dhindivandam route.
Once we reached Pondicherry, i din't feel any difference than any other place in TamilNadu.
Then we planned to visit Annai Aravindar Ashram, Auroville, Ganapathi Temple and Beach in this order.
We took Two wheeler ( It was an Activa, which helped us to enjoy the trip :) ) , and started from Aravinder street.
The time we reached Annai Aravinder Ashram was not a correct time, they closed at that time, they informed us to come back after 4.00 PM.
Then we decided to travel towards our next target.
As the place was new, we did not know the route. We asked so many people and we went in a wrong way. While searching the route for Auroville in tension, i did not turn to right side, as everyone told that you should take left.
By mistake, for one second i turned right side, which made me to turn so many minutes again. Ya, it was "Bay Of Bengal" , the first sea that i saw in my life, it made my heartbeat to stop for a second.
There only we changed our plan and took right instead taking left.
It was an outer place and one or two people were there.
I got so much excited by seeing that view. That is the first place where i put my leg in sea.
We enjoyed there for so much time.
Then we reached Auroville, which is a very nice place, but i dont have time to write all the things about that place, because there are huge things to tell about that.
Then we reached Ashram and did prayers. And we went to Ganapathi temple, got blessings from Ganapathi.
While leaving, sea called us again... So we visited the beach once again, then we returned the Activa and left without willing to.
At-last we reached Chennai at 9.45 PM.
I am so happy that i visited one more place in India which made me happy and proud.
Here s the pics...

Another Heart Touching Story..

This weekend , i travelled to my native..
This time, there is so much hot because of summer...
But still i enjoyed a lot..
This weekend i read a novel which i got from one of my colleagues.

I enjoyed the author's narration and compared with my personal life all along.
But at last, it was a negative ending.. Felt very bad for that...
Heard that it is real life story (not story, am not finding the proper word to put here)..
I am feeling so sorry for Ravin..
But it happens in life.. so many thoughts came in mind..
Life is just for a small time, why can't we enjoy each and every moment just like that..anything may happen at any time na....
Planning to read his another novel "Love Can happen twice"

Travel started towards another weekend..
Now a days , path is horrible to pass because of workload..

Have a Happy Week!!!
