Became Memories...

Today I was talking to one of my college friends..
She asked whats special today.. Then I remembered that today is Chadurthi ( Kind of a prayer)
Then I remembered about our college days..
Ours was a rural area college..
When we studied there were about 1500 members stayed in hostel..
There was a small temple ( No... I am not that big devotee..) inside that hostel itself..
For every Chadurthi, they used to give sweet pongal as prasad ( Prasadham in 'Tamil')
People used to go for Pooja, they used to sit and do all the rituals for about 2 hours..
We used to go exactly when they start distributing that Pongal and be the first person in that Pongal queue..
We were remembering all those things...
But I really did not think that these all will go as memory this much soon...
For me it seems "Like It Happened Yesterday" ( This is the book title what I am reading now :-))
Good Memories...
Can't forget our senior batch ( JBG.. Miss u dears...) and Junior batch..
Can't forget the hostel day functions..
Till now I remember the hostel food schedule for every day .. I mean, breakfast for Monday is idly, for Tuesday is Pongal and Vada,etc...
That place gave me great pleasure..

If I am able to go back to past and live for 1 day, i will definitely choose this place...

Golden Moments :)

Last week end i had a get together with my college friends...
We met after around 5 years..
All had lots of different experiences in life..
We all are more matured now...
We remembered all silly things that we made in hostel and class room...
I felt that i went back to my class room for 1 day and came back..
My heart is filled with so much ecstasy, and expecting the same again..
Now i am getting laugh, while thinking about all silly fights..
Thanks to Reena dear, for preparing good lunch with great difficulty...
Thanks to all the people, whoever came without asking a second quest..

We all enjoyed nicely...
We dispersed from college as innocent people and we met as known elders..
There is one thing which is not changed from that time to this time.. That is "Caring for each Other"
I think this is called as friendship...

Kids are always Kids...

One nice thing about my Bangalore life is, the people i got to know from different regions of India.
I got a nice Punjabi family as my friends..
I know them for around 4 years. I came to know about so much of their culture and hardwork.
Last weekend, their kid ( who always calls me "Dheedhi" with so much passion and i like that so much) celebrated his birthday.
As soon as i entered, i was able to see the excitement in his face, as if he has achieved all the things in life ( Of course.. for him every small thing is achievement only).
Our relationship lives even though we don't understand each others language very well..
Always there will be a water drop in his eye, while i leave.. this time too...
I really had very nice weekend with them.

Busy Girl!!!

From 2012, we have planned to reach office in time, we are doing also. I am reaching office before 10 minutes of my work time. I am so happy about that. Because evening i am able to start earlier.

  

   

Not having time to blog, since we have taken decision to have food only in home and need to avoid eating outside often. Till now this is followed. Started preparing in home only. But not sure till when :)
