Get-Up-Before-6-Marathon-Day-12

What makes a relationship alive?
I think that the lively communication makes a relationship alive.
There should not be any diplomacy or grudge in a relationship.
It should be a straight forward thing.
If you hesitate to say something with your partner, there is something wrong in the relationship I believe.
And we need to work a lot to understand each other.
After marriage, Life is not always like a fairy tale.
We may need to give up a lot and we may need to adjust a lot.
We may need to give up our dreams as well.
In such times, partner's real understanding is required. The other person should really value the adjustment or sacrifice which we do. That is the main thing.
There will be fights; if there is no fight, nothing will be there to get to know the problems.

This is the morning thought that came to me

Have a happy Friday:-)

Get-Up-Before-6-Marathon-Day-11

From Bangalore to Bengaluru:
I was gazing through window for a while before writing this.
'Bengaluru climate is back to form' This is the statement made by many of Bengalurians for last 3 days.
Yes. This time summer was really heavy.
Now rain started.
I remember the same Bengaluru exactly before 8 years.
Oh God.. How nice it was!!!
I can put it as 'Bangalore bachelor life' in my life-diary.

'If  time machine is set 8 years back, these will be thoughts in my mind.

- I forgot my umbrella. I am going to drench in rain ( even if it is summer )
- I should get ready by 7.20 AM. Otherwise I will miss my office bus
- How bad the PG food is :-(
- Today I ll buy dosa in road side shop ( daily )
- why my weight is getting reduced
- When is the next holiday
- Will I get seat in BMTC bus today?
- what will happen if something happens to this flyover when we are in it.'

I had many good and not so good experiences like this; Stopping here.

Enjoy monsoon.

Get-Up-Before-6-Marathon-Day-8

In the eyes of my 1 year old daughter..

Whatever is boiling in a vessel is 'Kuzhambu'
We can touch everything and feel it.
All the watery items in the world is to splash and enjoy.
All pet animals are equal to my soft toy.
'Amya' is the word to express all the feelings.

She is learning many things all by herself.
I am learning many more things from her.

3. My appraisal rating ☺

And that's all.
It was very difficult to make this list.

Get-Up-before-6-Marathon-Day-6

When doing my NTT course , I used think of games to play with kids.
But when we were children;
we used to play some games which were really helping for counting, learning numbers etc and it happened without our knowledge.
One such game is 'Pallankuzhi'.
There will be 12 small pits , 6 of each side and 60 same sized stones or tamarind seeds.
Two people will be sitting opposite to each other.
We used to fill 5 stones to each pit. Then one has to take stones from his side pit and put one by one in a sequence.
This helps to count in fives. Without my knowledge I learnt  multiplication and addition in this game.
One more that I loved and still I love to play is 'Dhaayam'.
A Variance of this game is played now a days.
This game also helps in counting , adding and subtracting.
The other game that I used to play was 'achangal'.
We have to play this with 5 stones or 7 stones.
What I wonder is, our ancestors has taught us so many things likes this.
In everything they have used all natural resources like stone, mud, seeds etc.
When I see the toys of my kid, I am thinking, "Are they really going to help her?"
Kids always love to play with natural resources and they will learn a lot naturally.
We need to guide them in language, reading and writing.
Rest all they will learn in their own pace.
We need to give them space to develop on their own. That's it.

Have a happy parenthood,

Vaanadhi
